Original vintage Kaiser Idell model 6551 desk lamp, designed by Christian Dell and produced by Kaiser Leuchten in Germany. An iconic piece of Bauhaus and Art Deco design history, dating back to the 1930s and widely used through the 1950s.

This model features a classic black sheet metal shade, painted white inside (signs of patina) to optimize light reflection. The stem is a black-lacquered steel rod with a ball joint connecting to the lampshade, allowing directional lighting. The cast iron base is equipped with a pivot joint for added flexibility and has its original press switch. The lamp includes a single brass E27 socket and has been professionally rewired and earthed for modern use.

Condition:
Good original vintage condition with light signs of age, including minor scratches and patina consistent with time. Some rust on the underside of the base. Fully functional and tested.
Suitable for use with 110–230V power supplies.
